The regional group "Porębianski Ród"

The Regional Group "Porębiański Ród" is a folklore group from Konina in the Niedźwiedź commune (Limanowa district, Lesser Poland province), operating since 2008 under the direction of Jadwiga Zapała. The group cultivates the traditions of the Zagórzański highlanders, presenting a rich repertoire of songs, dances and rituals characteristic of the Gorce and Beskid Wyspowy regions.(

The performances of "Porębiański Rod" include both secular and religious pieces, reflecting the spirit of local culture. The group actively participates in cultural events of the region, such as folk festivals and reviews of folk groups.
